Mathsquad is proud to offer a wide range of FREE resources that are designed to help students have positive experiences in their first years of high school. Our resources and services cater for teachers and parents with students from Grade 5 to Year 8.

Free Resources:

• Key Skills Workbooks: Workbooks containing 40 Weekly Worksheets that give students regular opportunities to practice the skills which underpin success in high school maths. Over three levels, these sheets cover maths skills from upper primary school to Year 8. The sheets are designed to improve students’ accuracy, efficiency, confidence and retention of these skills.
• Key skills training videos and practice questions: Free instructional videos and practice questions that directly align to the skills within the Key Skills Workbooks. These resources are designed to help students fill in gaps identified by completing the Weekly Worksheets or to support their learning of mathematics more generally.
• Warm up booklets: Perfect for teachers of Grade 5 to Year 8, Mathsquad offer 3 warm up books providing an efficient way to give students regular practice of key skills.
• Archived resources: Free times table warm ups, homework sheets, skill development booklets and problem solving packs for Year 7 classes, and homework and skill development books for Year 8 classes.

Other Resources and Services:

• Final Five Quiz Solutions: These 5 questions quizzes are used to assess whether a student can independently carry out a skill. To ensure that students aren’t tempted to check their answers prematurely, it is important that solutions are not freely available.
